Rev. Sara Ver Burg
Rev. Sara Ver Burg was born and raised in sunny Tucson, Arizona, and is a desert rat at heart. Pastor Sara earned her undergraduate degree from Hope College, in Holland, Michigan, and her M.Div from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Since 2005 she has served churches in Georgia, and Wisconsin. She started occasionally filling in as pulpit supply for us in 2020, and now serves as our part-time pastor. She now resides once again in Tucson with her husband, their teenage daughter, dog, and cat (who really enjoys seeing everyone on Zoom).
She preaches from the sanctuary usually on the second Sunday of the month, as well as leads a mid-week on-line study.
