John’s passion is to preserve the environment in its natural state. Where man’s influence exists, or is desired, he attempts to make it as unobtrusive as possible. He has worked for the Forest Service for 44 years. Currently, his work consists of purchasing inholdings of offered public property within the boundaries of National Forests to help preserve these unique and beautiful properties to be included as part of the Forest for future generations. Raised in Ohio, John graduated from the University of Arizona in Watershed Management/Forestry and has lived in this area since 1977, working on the Gila National Forest.
