At First Presbyterian Church we’re always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you’ll come join us for a service and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here’s what to expect when you come to our 11:00 a.m. service:
We are located at the corner of 20th and Swan Streets and we have a large parking area, with some spaces reserved for the handicapped.
Please don’t worry about what you’ll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. Once you walk in the doors, you’ll see our congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress.
When you walk in, find one of our participants and introduce yourself. If you have any questions about the service itself, we can provide answers. You are NOT expected to make a financial contribution.
We typically have services in the church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. These are "hybrid" worship services with some participating in the sanctuary and some from home over Zoom. Our part time pastor, Rev. Sara Ver Burg, is with us in person on the 2nd Sundays.
On all Sundays our 11:00 am worship services are available by Zoom invitation. You may request to receive an invitation by email.
Our church services usually last about an hour.
