At First Presbyterian Church we’re always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you’ll come join us for a service and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here’s what to expect when you come to our 10:30 a.m. service:
We are located at the corner of 20th and Swan Streets and we have a large parking area, with some spaces reserved for the handicapped.
Please don’t worry about what you’ll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. Once you walk in the doors, you’ll see our congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress.
When you walk in, find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They’ll give you a small welcome kit and show you where everything is like the Sanctuary, our Fellowship Hall and the restrooms. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide answers.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month, and anyone who believes in our Lord Jesus Christ is welcome to partake of the bread and wine.
Our church services usually last about an hour as do our Adult Bible Classes. If you come to a service, be sure to fill in the small green card on the back of the pew in front of you.
Be sure to hang around after the service and join us for coffee. You’ll have a chance to meet our pastor and other people in our congregation.
